On a past trip, after a long day of meetings and a red-eye flight (and four-hour drive) the day prior, I hopped in the elevator. I played “elevator-woman,” asking each person what floor they would like while juggling a binder, a brief case, and a very, very, very big purse. Soon we were talking and sharing–as much as you can share in an elevator only operating between seven floors–but it was a simple act of courtesy and caring and I believe it brightened some other weary travelers today.
Today’s Affirmation: I am courteous and caring to all whom I encounter.
