What are you thinking!?!

 Good morning! For those of you who have sincerely practiced one or more of the Good Morning routines, you have likely noticed that a chipper Good Morning has a drastic influence on your morning, and therefore the rest of your day. Just as we say that breakfast is the most important physical component of a day, I feel that a “Good Morning” is the most important emotional component of our day. It also shows how positive thinking (even when it is difficult to do or done half-heartedly) has the power to change how we feel and impact those around us. Don’t let that attitude fade away after your “Good Morning” though. Make a consistent effort to keep your positive energy flowing throughout the day.

 Your Turn: Say several “Good Mornings” today! Each time you eat, say Good Morning afterward to remind yourself of the power of positive thinking. If you think a negative thought, talk back to it! Research has shown that it takes twenty-seven positive thoughts to counteract the power of one negative thought. Today, keep talking and thinking positive thoughts until you tip the scale to a positive mindset for the majority of the day.
