Life’s challenges…

“Life’s challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they’re supposed to help you discover who you are.”~ Bernice Johnson Reagan

Good morning! Have you ever had a day or a week or a month where you feel you are walking around under one of those black rain clouds and the rain is only falling on you? Each time you take a step forward it is counteracted by two steps back?

The more we attempt to move forward and the more we aspire to accomplish, the more rain clouds we will run into. Why? Because change and challenge require that we push beyond our boundaries and step outside of our comfort zone. What feels like a rain cloud, is often just the water fertilizing the soil for a fresh dream or direction.

Your turn:

The next time you feel like a rain cloud is following you, look up and thank it for being present. Realize this is the fertilizing of fresh ground for a new dream and aspiration. Keep on challenging life as that is how we “discover who we are.”

Your affirmation:
I grow in positive ways from each challenge I face in life.

  1. Love the new look! You’ve truly inspired me to see things a whole lot differently—I’m “discovering who I am”!!! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication! Keep up the great work!:)

  2. Good timing! I am experiencing one of those weeks, where it is very dark and bleak. Every day this week it’s been a challenge to get up and move, because of the rain and wind……I want to stay in bed, where it’s comfortable and not deal with life’s problems.

I try to keep building on the positive, it takes work to turn my thoughts into positive feed back, but your Good Morning quotes always encourage and give me another way to look at the present situation. I print them so that I can refer to it throughout the day.

Thank you for bringing sunshine to my day.

  3. Thank you so much for inspiring my day. I’ve had a tough week on an ongoing project and you’re quote today will be the starting point of my next team meeting! You’ve inspired me to action!

  4. I am SO excited to see this new look! Being a graphic designer I can sometimes be critical about the way things look. Of course, being negative is something I’m trying to get over and is one of the reasons I joined this program!
The new look is beautiful. Tthe bright colors and cheery graphics will help to promote the positive attitude that CYLC is all about.
Thank you for helping the world become a better place.

  5. It is so refreshing to open your messages and get a dose of “quit pouting and make it happen”! Thanks for the wake up calls! Your affirmations keep me balanced. I love to go back and read them. If everyone would focus on being an inspiration to others, the world would be a happier place.
