Class: Get Back in the Groove – A Class to Help You Stop Procrastinating and Start Doing

In this new class from Brook Noel, you will learn how to stop procrastinating and get things done.

  • Complete a 50 question quiz to determine what procrastination personalities are present in your life
  • Have access to Brook’s podcasts on procrastination
  • Learn how to quit fighting against procrastination in your life by implementing solutions based on your procrastination personalities
  • Learn your personal procrastination type and action steps for improvement

  • Complete a time distortion inventory

  • Create a weekly time management template
  • Uncover your anchors. This class will show you step-by-step how to manage your time effectively and achieve more in fewer hours. At the end of the class, you will have your own master schedule that incorporates moods, interruptions, energy peaks, and reality. In addition you will learn Brook’s Time Block Management system, that allows flexibility within your schedule.

 

Week 1:  During this first week, we will take a quiz to determine our particular procrastination personality followed by lessons on understanding the basics of change and creating a procrastination inventory.  We will wrap the week by analyzing our quiz results and reviewing the 10 procrastination personality types.

Week 2:  This week we will write our own procrastination prescription and explore various emotional responses.  We will finish up with lessons on reprogramming for success.

Week 3:  Now that we understand the why’s of procrastination, we will begin making a plan to get things done.  We will start this week with an evaluation to determine our peak energy and mood times.  Finally, we will begin using a new tool (the CAN) and tracking our time.

Week 4:  This week, we will review time management technics and create our master plan.  The master plan will help us move forward.  We will also add additional tools such as the power hour and delegation to more effectively use our time and move us forward.

Week 5:  In this final week of class, we will learn methods to keep us motivated so we continue to accomplish our to-do’s and move through our procrastination inventory.  Our class will end with lessons on focus and directing our thoughts.

 

F.A.Q.
How Do These Classes Work?

Our classes are presented via our Facebook platform.  The Sunday before classes start, you will receive an email invitation to join the secret Facebook group for your class.  If you enroll in the class after the start date, please allow 48 hours to receive your email invitation.

Please make sure you sign up for the class using the email account associated with your Facebook account.

How much time does this class require? There is no mandatory homework or mandatory sharing so you are free to work at your own pace although you will need to download all lessons during the class period – we do leave classes open for 1 week beyond the scheduled end date, to allow you to retrieve any outstanding information. Since we run so many classes, we are unable to send lessons manually or to make them available once the class has closed.
