Good Morning: Winnie the Pooh Wisdom

“Well,” said Pooh, “what I like best,” and then he had to stop and
think.  Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do,
there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better
than when you were, but he didn’t know what it was called.
~A.A. Milne

Who knew a cartoon bear could be so wise. I can relate to Pooh.
I love having a new book released, but the time I like even better
is that time when I am writing – when the words and research are
driving me toward discovery.

“Life is a journey, not a destination,” is a quote we often see on
inspirational posters. We have to create a day-to-day life that
fosters the feelings Pooh describes. Our day-to-day journey has to
become the joy and richness in our life. After all, what do you do
when you get to a destination? You usually don’t stay there, but
chart another course. We can’t link good feelings simply to our
destination, or we would never have as many good feelings as we
deserve in our lifetime.

Your Turn:
What is one thing you can do daily to make your day-to-day journey
richer?

Your affirmation:
Each day of my life is rich and rewarding.

And as always, don’t forget to start your day with a heartfelt:

“Something great is going to happen today… I can’t wait to see what it is!”

And when ending your day ask yourself:
“What is one more thing I can do to make today matter?”
