Good Morning! Paint A Positive Picture Every Day!

Around the Corner:
“It is a gift to be able to paint a particular picture or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look. To affect the quality of the day – that is the highest of the arts.”
Henry David Thoreau

Good morning!

This is a quote worthy of reading several times. I fall in love with the line … “To affect the quality of the day — that is the highest of the arts.” Think about that for a moment. Right now, this hour, this moment, you have the ability to affect the quality of a day. Each day then becomes part of our history – both for ourselves personally and for our world.

Why not put away the “tomorrow” attitude for good and instead grab hold of today? You have the ability to affect the world today… you are going to one way or another whether you like it or not. You are either going to do nothing or make a positive impact or make a negative impact. The choice is yours.

Your Turn: What are you waiting for? Today is here full of opportunities to find magic and create happiness! What can you stop and do RIGHT NOW to affect the quality of today in a positive way? Choose something. Then do it.

Your Affirmation: “Each day I affect the quality of the day in positive way.”
